Naproxen Sodium Perrigo is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Naproxen Sodium Perrigo works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Naproxen Sodium Perrigo is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by conditions such as arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, bursitis, gout, or menstrual cramps.
Naproxen Sodium Perrigo may also be used for purposes not listed in Naproxen Sodium Perrigo guide.

Naproxen Sodium Perrigo side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Naproxen Sodium Perrigo and call your doctor at once if you have:

severe skin reaction -- fever, sore throat, swelling in your face or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin pain, followed by a red or purple skin rash that spreads (especially in the face or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.

bloating, gas;
dizziness, headache, nervousness;

Usual Adult Dose for Ankylosing Spondylitis:

Initial: 250 mg to 500 mg or 275 mg to 550 mg (naproxen sodium) orally twice a day. The initial dose for Naproxen Sodium Perrigo sodium controlled-release is two 375 mg tablets (750 mg) orally once a day, one 750 mg tablet orally once a day, or two 500 mg tablets (1000 mg) orally once a day.
Maintenance: May be increased to a daily maximum of 1500 mg (naproxen) or 1650 mg (naproxen sodium) in 2 divided doses, for limited periods up to 6 months. In patients who tolerate lower doses well, the dose of Naproxen Sodium Perrigo sodium controlled-release may be increased to two 750 mg tablets (1500 mg) or three 500 mg tablets (1500 mg) orally once a day for limited periods.

Usual Adult Dose for Osteoarthritis:

Initial: 250 mg to 500 mg (naproxen) or 275 mg to 550 mg (naproxen sodium) orally twice a day. The initial dose for Naproxen Sodium Perrigo sodium controlled-release is two 375 mg tablets (750 mg) orally once a day, one 750 mg tablet orally once a day, or two 500 mg tablets (1000 mg) orally once a day.
