Children and teenagers who take Mirtazapina Ciclum may be at increased risk for suicidal thoughts or actions. Adults may also be affected. The risk may be greater in patients who have had suicidal thoughts or actions in the past. Watch all patients who take Mirtazapina Ciclum closely. Contact the doctor at once if new, worsened, or sudden symptoms such as depressed mood; anxious, restless, or irritable behavior; panic attacks; or any unusual change in mood or behavior occur. Contact the doctor right away if any signs of suicidal thoughts or actions occur.
Serotonin syndrome is a possibly fatal syndrome that can be caused by Mirtazapina Ciclum. Your risk may be greater if you take Mirtazapina Ciclum with certain other medicines (eg, antidepressants, "triptans," MAOIs). Symptoms may include agitation; confusion; hallucinations; coma; irritability; fever; fast or irregular heartbeat; tremor; excessive sweating; rigid muscles; and nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Contact your doctor at once if you have any of these symptoms.
Some people may be at risk for eye problems from Mirtazapina Ciclum. Your doctor may want you to have an eye exam to see if you are at risk for these eye problems. Call your doctor right away if you have eye pain, vision changes, or swelling or redness in or around the eye.
Mirtazapina Ciclum may lower the ability of your body to fight infection. Tell your doctor if you notice signs of infection like fever, sore throat, mouth or nose sores, rash, or chills.
Use Mirtazapina Ciclum with caution in the ELDERLY; they may be more sensitive to its effects, especially drowsiness, confusion, or low blood sodium levels.
Mirtazapina Ciclum should be used with extreme caution in CHILDREN; safety and effectiveness in children have not been confirmed. They may also have an increased risk of suicidal thoughts or actions.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Mirtazapina Ciclum while you are pregnant. It is not known if Mirtazapina Ciclum is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Mirtazapina Ciclum, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

If you miss a dose of Mirtazapina Ciclum, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Who should not take Mirtazapina Ciclum?

Carbamazepine, hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), or rifampin because they may decrease mirtazapine's effectiveness
