fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash;
bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness; or

Ib-u-ron dosing
Usual Adult Dose for Dysmenorrhea:
200 to 400 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Usual Adult Dose for Osteoarthritis:
Initial dose: 400 to 800 mg orally every 6 to 8 hours. Maintenance dose: May be increased to a maximum daily dose of 3200 mg based on patient response and tolerance.

Usual Pediatric Dose for Fever:
Greater than 6 months to 12 years: 5 mg/kg/dose for temperature less than 102.5 degrees F (39.2 degrees C) orally every 6 to 8 hours as needed. 10 mg/kg/dose for temperature greater than or equal to 102.5 degrees F (39.2 degrees C) orally every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Usual Pediatric Dose for Rheumatoid Arthritis:

How should I take ib-u-ron?

Do not take more of this medication than is recommended. An overdose of ib-u-ron can cause damage to your stomach or intestines. The maximum amount of ib-u-ron for adults is 800 milligrams per dose or 3200 mg per day (4 maximum doses). Take ib-u-ron with food or milk to lessen stomach upset.

Who should not take ib-u-ron?
Do not use ib-u-ron just before or after heart bypass surgery.
This medicine may cause life-threatening heart or circulation problems such as heart attack or stroke, especially if you use it long term.
This medicine may also cause serious effects on the stomach or intestines, including bleeding or perforation (forming of a hole). These conditions can be fatal and can occur without warning while you are taking ib-u-ron, especially in older adults.
You should not use this medication if you are allergic to ib-u-ron, aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to take this medication if you have:
a history of heart attack, stroke, or blood clot;
heart disease, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure;
a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding;
asthma;
polyps in your nose;
liver or kidney disease;
systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE);
a bleeding or blood clotting disorder; or
if you smoke.
FDA pregnancy category D. Taking ib-u-ron during the last 3 months of pregnancy may harm the unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using ib-u-ron.
It is not known whether ib-u-ron passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
