Emcon is a progestin. Exactly how it works is not known. It may prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, altering transport of sperm or eggs to prevent fertilization, or altering the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation if fertilization occurs.

Important safety information:

I have two questions... 1. If i buy a emcon emergency pill and store it in my house untill the expiry date and whenever between the expiry date, i feel that me and my wife have unprotected sex then i give her the pill, will there be any problem. 2. If i store a emcon emergency pill in closed drawer, almira e.t.c where there is no or less air and light, in these atmosphere can a pill be damaged or any othe defects Plz let me know. Thank you.
